Dogs have always been a
special part of our lives. They are called 'man's best friend' after all. Dogs
have always been our faithful companions, friends and protectors, and thanks to
celebrities like Paris Hilton, have become something of a fashion accessory to
some.
These days dogs are as
trendy as their human counterparts, wearing clothes, trendy jewellery and even diamond
encrusted dog collars. Some people even go as far as hats and shoes for their
pooch. And those really small dogs are even escorted around in handbags from
everywhere to the shopping mall and the gym.
Because many people find a
close relationship with their dog, they find comfort in taking their pets on
various daily activities. This makes dogs more susceptible to getting lost and
even stolen. To protect the safety of your pet, a pet ID tag should be included
in your list of fancy dog apparel and accessories.
Because our dogs are so
important to us, we should not take their safety for granted. We it comes to
the safety of our beloved pets, we cannot take any chances. Thousands of dogs
go missing every year, and many will never find their way back home and end up
living on the streets or worse. It is our responsibility as dog owners to
protect our dogs, especially if they are doing us that same favour. To most of
us dogs are more than just pets, they are a part of the family, and sometimes
they are the only family we have. Why put them at risk by skimming on one of
the most important things - an ID tag.
Always ensure that your
dog is wearing a pet ID tag and is durable and well fitted to its collar. This
could be the only way to find your precious pooch should it go missing.
